Expired Lens Multipurpose Solution?

Apparently, an expired contact lens solution really, REALLY hurts. I mean it literally. It stung my eyes like it's some kinda soap. However, it is written that the expiry date is on 2014. So I continued using it for a few days, unknown to me that the solution has gone bad. Then came the day that I had to take off my lenses because it felt like my eyes are burning, and my eyes are swollen. In the end, I ended up walking around Tesco, unable to see a thing except colors and nearby objects. Luckily my boyfriend is by my side, and he guided me until I reached home. I thought it was the contact lenses that were faulty, because I have just bought them a few days before the incident. And then it occurred to me-- a friend of mine gave me that new solution. She said she got it for free, and since she is not wearing lenses, she decided to let me have it. It is still sealed and all, so I didn't expect it to be contaminated. And after the thought hit me, I tried wearing my lens again, but this time I used my own solution. And there was no more swollen eyes or burning sensation. Ugh! That is one hell of an experience. I could be blind because of that!! Damn it!

Face Wash (L'OREAL)

L'oreal White Perfect Transparent Rosy Whitening Facial Foam

 

 I've been using this for quite awhile now. The foam feels lovely on my skin, and the smell isn't bad either. It removes makeup quite well. I don't use makeup remover because I'm under budget, so this is a good investment for me. I don't need to buy makeup remover.

L'oreal Hydrafresh Anti-Shine Icy Foam

I'm still using this. It feels so refreshing! It gives me the fresh feeling I need every time I wash my face. It is cool, and I do believe my skin feels softer after the wash. And the best thing is, it doesn't give me the tight feeling even though it's cool! I like this. Give it a try! ^^

Face Cream (L'OREAL)

These are two L'oreal face creams that I have tested.

L'oreal White Perfect Transparent Rosy Whitening Day Cream SPF 17

Currently I am still using this cream-- just for the sunblock. This cream is okay with my skin at first.. but after a few months of using it, it became very oily on my skin. Very oily and sticky. I have no idea why. But it doesn't damage my skin. I think the good thing about this cream is that it has sunscreen, so it helps to minimize melanin synthesis. It has the Tourmaline gemstone extract which helps to make the skin more transparent and rosy. It did what it should, which is to make the skin rosy. But in terms of lightening, it doesn't help at all. Even if it works, it is unnoticeable. Well, at least if I notice no changes on my skin, the sunscreen works because no new freckle showed up. Ha-ha.

L'oreal White Perfect Transparent Rosy Whitening Night Cream

 

This is a night cream, I've stopped using this though, because L'oreal are not actually budget products. Well, it should be used with the day cream as a pair to get noticeable effect. Well... I don't see any changes though. But it sure feels good to know that the skin is being repaired while sleeping at night. ^^

L'oreal Hydrafresh Anti-Shine Icy Gel

I like this gel! It's cool, and it melts into my skin as soon as I smeared it on. I love the refreshing feeling. And it hydrates my skin well, too. Another great thing about it is that it doesn't make my skin feel greasy! It gave me what it is supposed to give-- matte and cool, refreshed skin. Love this! ^^

SCREAMO

Today I went to One Utama... I think it's the bigest mall in Malaysia... I mean, it's so HUGE! Bigger than Times Square! I haven't been there for years, and I think if I want to want to browse through all the shops in that building, I'll have to camp nearby for a week straight. It's okay for people who wants to go shopping for variety, and it is also a food haven. But there isn't much for entertainment. However, there is a place to sing your heart out (karaoke), a cinema and wall climbing.

I have been wanting to sing karaoke for so long-- and now that I got the chance, I sung my heart out. I even tried doing screamos. And you know what? I CAN DO SCREAMOS. It is a new discovery for me! I've always wanted to try doing screamos. I did screamos for Linkin Park "From The Inside" and "One Step Closer". Hahaha! I didn't know I'm able to do screamos-- I NEVER thought I could! Even my boyfriend is shocked! This is a really BIG discovery for me! Now I can join a heavy metal band!! XDDD

My First Purchase in eBay!

For the first time in my life, I bought something from eBay. I bought a neat armor ring, but I used my friend's debit card and address. Reason? Because there's insufficient bucks in my bank, and I don't have a permanent address. The armor ring I've ordered will be shipped from Hong Kong, so it will take a while to be sent. It is said to be gold-plated and its retail price is around $49.90. It was auctioned, and I won the auction for $5.03 (including the shipping fee), which equals to RM16.20. Even though it may be a fake, I'll take my chances since I like it so much ^^
I know I may be one of those naive online buyers, since I am a first-timer. It's risky, I know. Sadly, I'm just too tempted with this armor ring. It's hard to find in Malaysia, it's very rare. And whether it's true that the ring is gold-plated as stated or if it's fake, it all depends on my luck.

New Contact Lenses

I recently just bought a new pair of contact lenses. Before, I've worn grey, blue, and a crazy mix of blue and purple. I like to be a Barbie sometimes. :p but, recently I bought a pair of brown contact lenses. This one is supposed to look more natural, even though it's clear that it's fake XD somehow, I think this shade doesn't suit me well (T^T)

Going Nuts

My software... is it going to work out? I'm so tired with all these paperworks! The software is done, but it's in visual basic, I have to convert it to C++ or Java language... Damn! I'm tired (@_@) anyone please help finish my report!!!

Wonderland Online :D

Wonderland online is addictive! I loooove this game. hopefully I can make more in-game friends!! Wonderland online is very similar to Ragnarok, I think Ragnarok lovers could give this a try. See if you like it. If you don't, well, too bad. :(

5th day of Ramadhan

Internet is soooo slow! I can't seem to download anything! Geez. Glad it's ok now. I'm using prepaid internet so in a few more days it will expire & I'll have to find another way to update my FB & blog. If only I have WiFi here in my house.
So today is already the 5th day of fasting for Ramadhan. Actually I can't wait for Hari Raya! Hari Raya is in Syawal, it is right after Ramadhan month. I want a white baju kurung for this year's Raya! I'm looking forward to it! ^_^

Bioré Acne Clear

This was helpful when my skin was so terribly infected by break outs. I don't have any idea what happened, but there was a time when my face was over-producing pimples, & this gentle foaming wash solves it all without making my face feeling tight or dry. It smells nice, foams easily & most important of all, it works! One of the things we all need to know is that when we're looking for acne solution, one of the ingredients should include triclosan.

Bioré Glowing Bright

This one kind of smells like detergent... Which is not really surprising since its company produces detergents too. Even though the smell is not really appealing to me, but the effects are quite noticeable after a month of usage. This product contains micro beads which claims to exfoliate dull skin. Maybe that's the real reason why my skin looks brighter & feels more "exposed" (not hidden under that layer of dull skin anymore!)! But it feels too mild for my liking, so I stopped using it. But overall this one's a good cleanser, I'll recommend this for girls who needs that layer of dull skin removed ASAP!

Bioré Pore & Oil Clear

This claims to work on oily skin. I've tried it, but doesn't feel like it focuses on oil clearing. This one also has micro beads, it should work (maybe) for people with bigger pores & obvious blackheads.

Bioré Pure Mild

It smells really nice but I think it will only work for normal skin. I bought the wrong one, obviously. Doesn't help with my skin problems!

P/S: I think Bioré really scored in terms of foaming. It foams easily & it feels so soft! Love the foam ♥ (≧ω≦) ♥

Face Wash (Clean & Clear)

I wanna do review on facial wash! So far I've tried Clean & Clear, Bioré, L'Oreal, St. Ives, Nivea, Neutrogena, Simple, Nano White, Olay, & Pure Beauty.

Mind you that I have very oily skin & I aim for oil control, moisturizing & whitening. I'm always under budget so each one that I used are under RM30.

So, firstly, Clean & Clear.

Clean & Clear Essentials Foaming Facial Wash

This is the first cleanser I've used as a teenager! I love its smell & it is gentle to the skin. It foams up nicely. I think this is best for people with normal skin because this one doesn't actually help my skin much. But it works for me as a teenager! Prevents pimple & blackheads.

Clean & Clear Deep Action Cleanser

This one makes my skin feel squeaky clean! I like this, because I can really feel my skin being thoroughly cleansed. It doesn't leave my skin feeling tight or dry, and it keeps my skin looking matte for about an hour or so. Other cleansers didn't have this effect on me. So this one's a winner in deep cleansing.

However, it doesn't provide what I need & that made me stop using them (I aim for whitening).

Clean & Clear Clear Fairness Cleanser

This one has this little beads that massages the skin & washes off the dirt AND whitens the skin. It also functions as a cleanser & it claims to have this oil control formula. Well, I don't see any change to my skin. Doesn't work as good as the C&C Deep Action Cleanser either.

Clean & Clear Clear Daily Soft Cleanser

I've used this one a couple of times. That was when my face doesn't break out much. This is best for normal skin, I guess. But it has this cucumber extract & smell so good it makes me want to use it. It makes my skin feel moisturized & refreshed, it is gentle to the skin.

Clean & Clear Clear Deep Action Daily Pore Cleanser

This one is my least favorite of the four. It says "DAILY" pore deep action cleanser but fact is, it makes my skin feel so tight after a week, & what angers me most is that it makes my skin dry & flaky! I'm soooo not gonna buy this again. But maybe people with super-oily & blemished skin could get some benefit from this one.

P/S: Also, remember that when you're looking for oil-control face wash, be sure to look for Witch Hazel extract in its ingredients. It's one of the important formulas for oil control.

I know I'm not supposed to say this out LOUD but suddenly I feel so sick, thinking back how my bf told me that a bunch of girls stalked him a few months ago & hiding when he's looking, and pretending she's playing badminton whenever my bf is around. AND what sets me off is she actually asked for his phone number!!! I got my eyes & ears everywhere so u don't need to get your underwear in a knot. Just cut your crap, bitch. You don't wanna know him... or you'll be in deep shit. Besides. He already passes the message to you that he's "MARRIED". So fuck off!!! I love my bf. And I don't share my bf. Never did & never will. Fuck Yea.

Kid Scenes

I really don't know what to say when kids ran up to me & cried, or buried their face in the pillow in the same room. So... I just assumed they have been scolded by their parents, or maybe jealous of their siblings, being treated less by the parents... It's obviously not really a good way to force them saying exactly wtf is happening when they're sobbing & buried face-down on the pillow.

Somehow I tried asking her, why is she crying, & wtf has happened (of course I didn't use that "wtf"). 3 times, and yet no answer. I've waited, quite a while for her sobbings to subside, but to no avail.

And then I knew. It was physical. Well... kind of. I pat her back slowly & talked to her like an adult should... I think. I blabbed about unconditional love of her parents, and why they did what they did. Though I think that didn't solve it, but she kept quiet & her breath steadied, so I continued with the patting & put her stray hair behind her ears, and told her to go to sleep. And she did.

Quite a surprise there. (o_0)

...And I sound like a novelist at this moment.

A piece on Ramadhan

Assalamualaikum!

Today is the first day of Ramadhan. Special for my Muslim friends, have a nice month of fasting! (^_^)

For my friends of other religions and cultures, would you like to know why we Muslims have to fast? We have a belief in which Allah S.A.W. (our god) told us to fast in Ramadhan (which is subject to change every year, since it follows the Islamic calendar).

It's a month in which we are trained to be more disciplined, and we pray a lot. And also to thank Allah for providing us with food. It is more like a month of appreciation.

I can only tell you that, I don't want to get so deep, so thanks for taking your time! (^_^)

Amsyar, My Youngest Cousin

He is so cute!!! Each time I see him, I feel like I wanna hug him... just like a teddy bear! Maybe it's because he's the youngest in my family, that may be why everyone wants to kiss-kiss him... my 2nd youngest is already 4 years old. That means we haven't had our hands on infants for quite a long time...
